Momotaro

Momotaro

Momotaro is a story about a young boy who was born from a peach and together with his friends, a dog, a monkey, and a bird, they try to save their village from evil monsters. The story of Momotaro is originated from Japan. A distinguished feature of Japanese art and design is the use of motifs or pattern. Japanese patterns are used in most of the everyday objects. Each of the patterns has its own good meaning and most of them represent good luck. By marrying the Japanese motifs with the most important elements in the story, the characters, the style frames for the title sequence will illustrate the theme of good luck and hope because Momotaro and his friends are the symbols of hope itself.
